How can we position our institution in times of fundamental political, economical, social and medial change? How do we successfully present yesterday’s collection in today’s society? These questions are addressed by the Museum Academy of the Universal Museum Joanneum in Austria as well as other museum representatives worldwide. In numerous workshops, conferences and excursions museum employees, scientists and cultural representatives present, debate and revise museum and exhibition related issues. With this in mind the Museum Academy publishes an annual program. The current program of 2016 contains a workshop titled “The diorama – condensed reality«. The picture »Raum 33« from my work »habitat diorama« was used as an illustration. 
 
Museum representatives around the world, including the Museum Academy of the Universal Museum Joanneum, in Austria, are faced with challenging questions. »How can we reinvent our institutions in these times of fundamental changes which affect politics, the media, our society and our economy? The Frankfurt Book Fair is held annually in mid-October at the Frankfurt Trade Fair grounds in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. I was making photos for the Hauptverband des Österreichischen Buchhandels for two days.

On the first day I shot the opening of the Austrian stand and the evening event which took place in the Städel-Museum, Frankfurt. On the second day I made photos of the Austrian Minister of Culture Dr. Josef Ostermayer.

On 10th and 11th of April I was working for Arbeitskreis Interim Management Provider (AIMP) in the Relais et Chateaux Burg Schwarzenstein in Geisenheim. I made photos at the award ceremony »interim manager of the year« of some workshops and presentations in a pleasant atmosphere.

The Jewish Museum Berlin uses a showcase in the lobby of the Savoy-Hotel in Berlin for advertising. 

Until July 2015 photographies and pictures with the content »dance« are shown in this showcase. One of my photos from my work »Nissuin, eine jüdische Hochzeit« is shown as well. My photo belongs since 2007 to the collection of the Jewish Museum Berlin.

Still moving. My work »second nature« moves together with 27 winners of the »European Architectural Photography Prize 2013« to the Wissenschaftpark Gelsenkirchen.

In the actual version of the magazine PHOTO International an article about the European Architectural Photography Prize 2013 is published. Some of my photos from the work »second nature« which were given special recognition are on page 60.

For the European Architectureal Photography Prize 2013 an exhibition catalogue is published. Here you can find the works of all prize winners. »The current motto »Focus of Attention« puts the emphasis on an important composition principle of photography, namely the focus on a certain detail. The photos focus not only visually, but also thematically on a subject that was also at the centre of public interest, whether a political, cultural or historical event. A host of international photographers submitted their work – certainly something to look forward to!«

Some photos from my work »second nature« were given special recognition by the »European Architectural Photography Prize 2013« and can be found on pages 78 and 79 of the catalogue. The exhibition catalogue »Im Brennpunkt | Focus of Attention« can be ordered on the website avedition GmbH Verlag für Architektur und Design or purchased in Deutsches Architekurmuseum (DAM).
